10th Annual Wine to Water

November 14, 2019

Hotel Captain Cook - 6 pm

It's that time of year.  We are excited to invite you to "Wine to Water 2019."  It's our 10th annual event and 11 years  of helping Dr. Jill Seaman and the people of Old Fangak, South Sudan.  It does seem like yesterday when the first barge arrived on the banks of the Zaref river (part of the Nile) in 2009. The supplies for the future new clinic arrived and the people of Old Fangak celebrated. There were tears, high fives, a feast.  And we've been back every year since then.  The clinic was built, 23 water wells drilled, over 100 new farms established.  This year's Wine to Water promises to be a wonderful evening of wine, conversation, philanthropy, and a continuation of the good work we started when Hope and Health International — Alaska Sudan Medical Project — was founded in 2008.

We already have a lot of great auction items.  Art, travel, wine, Alaskana. It promises to be a great night in support of clean water for South Sudan. Our goal this year is $60,000.  We hope you will help us reach that goal. Together we're making a difference.
